Market worse than a Chevy Spark....

Been looking for a car to go the long haul with ever since my car got flooded, having a problem finding a car without a bad title/condition problem for a good price and living in the greater New York metro area is not helping. AWD and comfort would be ideal but that's scarce as well so here's the options my mechanic and I checked out with little to no issues....I also think these are WAY over priced but when every Toyota or Honda under 80K miles is a lemon here we are =/

Lexus ES 330

42,421 Miles

$12,500

2009 Lexus IS 25

79,241 Miles

$13,790

2005 Lexus RX 330

64,453

$13,790

I also came across this Subaru but I wonder about the head gasket....

2006 Subaru Impreza

33,951 miles

$12,995

Yikes!  Things have definitely gotten out of hand.

I would definitely skip the Impreza.  I don’t know if that is one of the models with a vulnerable head gasket or not, but unless it’s really an “Impreza WRX”, that is an unreasonable ask, even with low miles.  (Subarus are great for what they are, but a 15 year old Impreza shouldn’t be priced like a 10 year old corolla or civic).

I would get the ES330 myself as it looks like it is in pristine condition. 42K miles is nothing. However, I would pay around $9,000 and would get all four tires replaced immediately as I checked the date code in the photos and they are 11 years old.
