Hey Scotty,
I am going to replace the water outlet on my car because it is leaking. Not the thermostat, but the S-shaped part on the other side of the engine. A mechanic suggests completely flushing my coolant and going from the orange Dex coolant to the universal green coolant because he says it is better. Should I just stick to what the car was designed with? Would switching to HOAT be a better choice than green?
Thanks

I think its fine as long as you don't mix them I switched all my older GM stuff over to the green stuff and I change it once a year.

Check your owner's manual to find out what type of coolant can you put in.

No. Use the orange.
