Hello. I have a question about opel corsa b (1997 - 143000 km) 1.2 33 kw engine. After oil change (5w-40), I have a weird rattling sound inside the engine , it sounds like something is scratching. Before oil change , engine sound was good but now it is terrible. My car mechanic said that he dont know what that sound is but he said that my problem now can lead to changing whole engine. Engine starts without any problem and car drives with no power loss but that sound now is the main problem. Do you know what can be problem here?

That really sucks. He probably used some Motor Honey or Rislone or some other super heavy fluid to quiet it down. Do you know where the guy lives? Just kidding.
Your "mechanic" probably didn't put in the right amount of oil or the wrong filter. Check your oil level.
Oil is on right level and oil filter is for that engine. He said that the guy who sold me that car poured additives to “cover up” engine fault.
