Scotty - I have a 2007 Toyota Matrix like yours (176,000 miles). I love it. It only has one problem. I have to take the center brake light assembly apart every 3 months or so and push the light bulb back into the socket. Somehow, through vibrations or closing the hatch door multiple times, the light bulb backs out just enough to quit working. Does yours have this problem? Any ideas how to keep the bulb in tight?

All you can do is to replace the bulb socket. Toyota sells it for around $12. Part number 90075-60037
