Mazda Cx-5 vs Nissan Rogue?

I got a friend looking for an SUV, and I think they are between a 2015+ Cx-5 or Nissan Rogue. I tried telling them that Nissan Rouge has transmission problems and the Cx-5 is a better vehicle, but wanted to get others' feedback.

CX5 for sure. I’ve ridden in the last two generations. I was amazed at their quality and responsiveness. Zoom zoom zoom.

With that size SUV, don’t go rogue.

Oh for sure the cx-5 the cx-5 is a better car overall the engine and transmission are pretty good it's ride is good as well and the quality is high. When it comes to reliability and quality, the 3 brands in mind would be, by order, Toyota Honda then Mazda. Nissan would have transmission issues which WILL mechanically total the car by 110k miles or so. I would run away from a Nissan Rogue. Plus, it is just a cheaply made French car not even that nice of a car. Small SUV picks in the 2015 2016 era is Toyota Rav4, Honda CRV, and Mazda CX-5. The top 5 WORST would have the Nissan Rogue in it. Take my experience from a 1994 Nissan, which was a lot more well made than the newer ones, and it stalled a lot had a ton of issues with it. The newer ones are even worse than  that. RUN AWAY from the Nissan Rogue unless you are paying negative 5 grand for it to cover the transmission repairs.

I have owned several Mazdas in the past and have also followed there design and manufacturing culture over the years. I would go Mazda alllll the way!

Another vote for the Mazda CX-5.  We have a 2016 GT.
