Hey Scotty I am looking to buy at a 1999 Mazda Miata with a 4 speed automatic transmission 1.8 l 4 cylinder engine it's a convertible top with only 160,000 MI it's an elderly lady selling it has cosmetic such as scratches and dings and faded paint she put in 2 new tires and a battery and a convertible top all it needs is the maintenance done the engine and transmission transmissions runs and shifts smoothly when I test drove it but when I pop the hood and made a little popping noise as you said on your last previous videos that just normal for miatas is this a good buy she's asking $2,500 tops the price is negotiableto 2,300 any thoughts and opinions things
IMHO, I think it's a good price for what you're paying for. If you are driving an automatic, don't expect to perform like a manual. Check with the mechanic to see if the automatic or manual is in good shape. The automatics tend to wear out around 100,000 miles if not maintained correctly.
