I have a 2004 Mazda RX-8 with 93500 miles on it and I'm having codes: U0100 (lost communication w/ Engine Control Module), P0960 (trans pressure control), P0768 (shift solenoid "D" malfunction) codes. I'm having trouble finding compatible parts for the shift solenoid kit in order to replace it. I keep finding 1 that will fit a CX6 but it says that's not compatible, I don't know what to do and I need an inspection in 10 days or I'm in trouble with the police, could you please HELP me?? Kelly
You're going to have to take it somewhere dude. The U0100 code be almost anything electronic related and your going to need a pro to look into it because it could take you a month or longer to find the root cause.
I would say you are in trouble and need to find the part asap.ring around and maybe get a second hand one to get u passed inspecation
