Hi scotty, i recently moved to germany, my previous car in nyc was a lexus is 2011, i really satified with that purchase and i want to buy used lexus again but all of people here telling me that mercedes vehicles are just as reliable as lexus ones and parts are cheaper here too, especially diesel engines, what should i do? Help.
And i realize that lexus sales are low too!!
In Germany that well may be true, being that it's Mercedes' home turf.
Since you are in Germany, where Mercedes Benz mechanics know what they are doing, the parts are cheaper, they are better made, they go for less, why not? I am not a Mercedes-Benz fan myself (at least the newer ones), but you can get some good ones in Germany with diesel and Mercedes-Benz diesels are popular in Europe. When I was in Europe 8 years ago, so many drove e class diesels as taxis or cars to commute, so those can be a good choice, especially the w212 e class which was one of my favorite gens of the e class.
