Today my MG 5 reached 100,000 kms
when I bought the car I was a bit scared but it’s been fun to drive and so reliable and the features were awesome what a great Chinese car

Well 100,000 kms is still relatively low mileage for any vehicle. Usually, the serious problems start to occur once you cross the 150,000 kms mark.
With that said, please let us know how your MG performs, as the kilometres keep piling on.
I completely agree, this is going to be very interesting.
Personally, I'm really unsure on these GM engines that Shanghai Automotive ("SAIC") is using. they also use CVT/DCT transmissions and I really wonder how they'll end up performing.....
Interesting they don't sell them here in the states and of course they bought the original Morris garage company and made little Chinese sports cars which they no longer make now I guess they're making SUVs instead
