MX-5 NB 2003 Automatic Miata Vapor Canister replacement

Hi there! I was wondering how to remove the Vapor/Evap canister at the bottom of the car, next to the fuel filter. Can you tell me if I can remove this black thick bar underneath it and without consequence or if it's holding anything else in place? I believe I need to remove this bar first to remove the Charcoal canister. It's really big and I don't know how to remove it without removing the bottom black bar/brace first. Here is a picture of that black bar.

I was told by autozone that it might be this. I ended up buying a used Charcoal canister off ebay. I think I'll try putting it back on. I'm trying to solve my check engine light issue because of this.

Can you take a picture from a few angles? It looks like the subframe but it also kind of looks like a sway bar because the picture is blurry.
