Like dealerships, chain shops are best avoided.

Find an honest local mechanic and avoid all chain repair shops as much as you can. 

I avoid Midas, Pep Boys, or any of these chain shops.  Time and time again, I hear horror stories:  I’ve had friends and family go to them in the past and they had issues (more like incompetent mechanics there).

Find an independent, honest mechanic to do some of the work.  Also, if you can, try and do some of the basic maintenance yourself:  lots of resources/videos/instructions online especially at Scotty’s channel.

Their name is "Midas" because any car they touch turns to gold (for them) and empties the wallets of the car's owner. As others have said, stay away from those chain shops.
