Scotty, I'm trying to buy used car and finding a lot of mileage tampering going on. How easy is it reset the mileage on newer cars (2020 and newer)? Have you seen much of this issue?
Thanks,
Tom

I see it all the time and unfortunately it's very easy to do because now everything is computerized and mechanics. Fancy computers are made so that they can reset the mileage in case a car speedometer broke and you can set it back to the same mileage. When you put a new one in. Of course then people will cheat and have an old one and set the mileage back. What you need is a paperwork trail such as car inspection and all that which have mileage figures on them
