Scotty, I paid a lot of money to fix my 2013 Mini Cooper Countryman S which has 66k miles. Replaced power steering, control arm, shocks... I am hoping to keep it for at least 40k more miles. Is it worth keeping? Or should I bail out?

Those cars are basically endless money pits. Either sell it now while it doesn't have other problems and buy something better, or drive it until it falls apart but don't spend on expensive repairs.
