Scotty is a Minivan a Good Vehicle for Moving Furniture
If you're starting a serious business, buy a serious (work)van not a minivan. I own/run a business that I started when I got an incredible deal on a cargo minivan but within a year I was completely outsized and traded it in for a full size van. THAT was 29 years ago and I've owned several work vans since. I own one work van still (although I'm gonna retire soon). The latest is a 2008 Ford E-350. Just before that I had a 1999 Chevy 3500, before that I had full size Dodge vans (several of them). I still own a Honda Odyssey for driving around the grandkids but that's it.
Anyway, if you're serious about being in business do everything right from day ONE it will save you money, make you money in the long and short run.
Sounds like a business use, if so, you'd be limited in size/type of furniture (couches, etc). Any they vary in accessibility and available space. A full size or panel van would be more suited imo. If just moving from one place to another (regionally), sure, it will work if furniture will fit...and if it's not made of stone ; )
Yeah they can be OK but a huge van might be needed for what you do just depends. An old chrysler minivan for 500 bucks could do the trick;)
you won't fit very much into a MINIvan.
@mountainmanjoe
i mean if you had an old dodge grand caravan with the seats removed you could fit 2 6 seat coutches right?
im thinking of just moving 2-5 coutches at a time
