Hi scotty , i just purchased this WDDKJ5KB1CF137909 2012 mercedes benz e-350 automatic RWD coupe (207.356) gas (225 kw/ 306 hp) at Honda dealer in Escondido CA. about 2 months AGO with 80k miles and the car was running fine until two weeks ago the car started to have a misfire while driving in freeway . When i press on the throttle its fine, its when i let go of the throttle then give it some gas (press on throttle) again thats when i feel the misfire and actually it does this while going slow on streets as well . Now when it does this i switch to manual mode (paddles) to control the gears and the engine to match other wise the car feels like its loosing power (jerking like its on wrong gear) but at the same time its wasting lots of gas by doing this. I have No check engine light on. Im broke ! i have a carfax report from vehicle it says it its had spark plugs replaced back in 2019 . But now im wondering if they didnt put them on right or if its something else. or what ? Also ive tested the car just by leaving the car still and accelerate then i can almost feels the engine telling me please help I cant breath or something, . Im tired of reading the possibilities and i almost thougght it was my tranny and was gonna report it as a LEMON . LOL. ive decided to put all my money on the ignition coils since is never had them replaced . But that was all the money I had because of car payment. I regret purchasing this car , the only reasn i purchased its because i thought they were reliable due to the popularly. Guess i was wayy wrong. I dont have a OBD 11 scanner but i can take it to auto zone and have it checked but if it doesnt have a check engine light on. What are the possiblities for this issue. Oh yeah almost forgot and theres this funny buzzing sound coming from speakers almost as if i can hear the voltage coming from the speakers not sure if this has anything to do with this. Oh yeah and sometimes the car starts like a beast and sometimes it starts like a regular old traditional car. I have done nothing to the car yet its been parked for 4 days now. I can always return the ignition coils if its not that. I have no machines or anything fancy to test this car other than hand tools. if it's misfiring there should be a trouble light. Does the light come up when you start up during the test sequence?
Was the previous owner a scumbag who covered it up?

Nope the check engine light does not come on when im pressing on gas or doing these tests. I mean all the dash indicators light up when i first turn my ignition to the second click but they all turn off as the engine starts . Not sure if they covered up the code or erased the codes but is there a away to tell ? Im a newbie to fixing german cars but im not afraid to crack it open with the right info. Not sure why the misfire.
