Hi everyone, I have a 2003 Silverado.
The truck started acting up around 2500 miles ago,like is running out of gas,but after a few goes back to normal,also idles rough.
I went under to check the fuel filter,and voila!:There is not filter there,just a piece of hose instead,do you think that the fuel pump can be damaged because this?

No, the fuel pump is inside the gas tank.
