Have an 04 grand am gt1 with 295,000 miles went to drain found plug stripped. Doing a complete flush and fill, change all hoses and thermostat.
Does anybody know how to ask a question anymore?????

I'd just replace the radiator as well and drain it from the bottom hose. It doesn't involve a whole lot more work, and they're not all that expensive. The only thing you'd need to monitor is the water pump.
