Hi Scotty,

My Mitsubishi Outlander 2009 has CVT transmission. Transmission works great.

There is a noise coming from under the car could be from CVT or the transfer case

1. Rotational noise which is heard only at slow speed and when the car is coming towards the stop after break is applied.The rotational noise continues for few seconds after car is stopped and then stops.

2. When the car is in neutral gear and engine is on and goes down the hill I can hear the noise

3, When the car engine is off and on neutral and goes down the hill no noise.

4. When the car  is moving fast no noise.

I have checked to many mechanics but no one knows what's issue is.
