  1. OK I have a mk6 ford transit minibus that I'm converting however it has a smoking issue I am struggling getting to the bottom of!
  2. I had a mobile mechanic come and diagnose it for me for £80 & he diagnosed it was a dripping injector and also recommended cleaning the egr valve.
  3. I bought new injector nozzles and pressure tested them before refitting and cleaned the egr valve However it smokes just the same as it did before only with more of a blue ish hint to it so it's burning oil.
  4. It doesn't smoke At All when idling but when you rev it, once it hit around the 2000rpm mark it mis fires and then chuffing out plumes of smoke.
  5. I'm thinking maybe Turbo??
  6. Any ideas before I go wasting more money.. p.s I have not scanned it Yet but no lights on dash and apart from the smoke it runs fine doesn't overheat or loose water.

Sad but true if they have a bluish tint, blue is burning metal. Meaning the piston rings and or the valves are worn. And that would require an engine rebuild

This was my fear {black}:scared: engine rebuild it is then. Thanks Scotty love your channel.
