- OK I have a mk6 ford transit minibus that I'm converting however it has a smoking issue I am struggling getting to the bottom of!
- I had a mobile mechanic come and diagnose it for me for £80 & he diagnosed it was a dripping injector and also recommended cleaning the egr valve.
- I bought new injector nozzles and pressure tested them before refitting and cleaned the egr valve However it smokes just the same as it did before only with more of a blue ish hint to it so it's burning oil.
- It doesn't smoke At All when idling but when you rev it, once it hit around the 2000rpm mark it mis fires and then chuffing out plumes of smoke.
- I'm thinking maybe Turbo??
- Any ideas before I go wasting more money.. p.s I have not scanned it Yet but no lights on dash and apart from the smoke it runs fine doesn't overheat or loose water.

Sad but true if they have a bluish tint, blue is burning metal. Meaning the piston rings and or the valves are worn. And that would require an engine rebuild
This was my fear {black}:scared: engine rebuild it is then. Thanks Scotty love your channel.
