Scotty, Is Mobil 1 0W-16 motor oil that is listed as "Advanced Fuel Economy" acceptable for a Toyota Rav4 which uses 0W-16 motor oil? I'm not sure if the the word "Advanced" means its for older cars, as in, advanced age, or if it is just supposed to get better mileage and is ok to use.
I'm bought a 2023 Rav4 and have done my own frequent oil changes as you recoemmended but it is difficult to get oil from Toyota dealers where I live and the prices vary wildly from about $6 to $10 per quart. Thank you for all that you do. You rock!
It's fine as long as it meets the manufacturer's required API specification.
thank you!

Your owners manual has these specifications. Pages 486-487
"High Mileage" and other labels are marketing jargon. When you change the oil ever 5K miles the difference is negligible.
Use any ILSAC approved GF-6B oil. https://www.api.org/products-and-services/engine-oil/eolcs-categories-and-classifications/oil-categories
Thanks Hixster!
