Model-mercedes Benz 2010 C180 /automatic/
Good day , I am having an issue with my cars ac that I can't seem to figure out.The problem is that when the system is charged with refrigerant it will hold it for a few days however if you don't use the ac for a few days all the refrigerant leaks out in 1 week ,however if you use the ac frequently the refrigerant will last longer than the 1 week ,but will eventually leak out after awhile also.We have done (ac technician) the pressure test but it's not showing any leaks,we also did the dye (color)in the system to try and locate the leak but we are not finding any.Please note we have changed the evaporator core and also the ac compressor .We look forward to your response, any help would be appreciated.
Well, there's obviously a leak somewhere. If you can't find the leak with dye a good electronic detector should be able to find it. Check the new parts for leaks as well, they can't be assumed good. (In particular if the AC compressor was a rebuilt job those tend to be poor quality.)
