Most Nit Picky Car Owners

Hey Scotty, is it just me, or are Toyota owners the most nit picky car owners out there ? I read a lot of car reviews and I’m in a bunch of car groups and it seems like Toyota owners like to complain about every little thing. “I don’t like the way the door sounds when I shut it” or “The engine is too loud ! What a horrible car !” and other stuff like that. When I did notice the slight hesitation with my Camry’s 8 speed automatic transmission when slowing down for a red light then stepping back on the gas, I was thinking, “Really ? People are whining about THAT ?!” 😆 Lol to me, that’s nothing and it only seemed to happen when pressing the gas pedal lightly but I didn’t mind it. Only reason I got the update for the transmission done was because it was free and if I already liked the way the car ran but there was a way to make my car perform even better free of charge, why not ? It’s more responsive now at least

Well..... The most nit picky.....They're certainly right up there, I'd say top 3. I'm in several car forums and everyone complains about all sorts of stupid stuff. Even within the Toyota brands, some model specific owners are more nit-picky than others.

Well it's Toyota's fault really. I wouldn't say all Toyota owners, but mostly the ones that are loyal longtime customers. They have been spoiled over the reliability of older models. So when something isn't right yea they're gonna complain. Where as someone who has driven Chrysler products for past 10 years, they get into a Toyota they don't complain about squat.

Although they might complain that the Toyota is slow... unless it’s from a Chrysler 200 to a V6 Camry

Maybe, I prefer slow and reliable vs fast and spurious. Fast is cool, but when you gotta push em half the time you can only push but so fast. 🙂

I was when I bought the Auris. Now others are more than me about my car.
