Motorhome slow to return brake pedal and soft pedal.

Just bought a 2000 National Surfside motorhome with the p32 workhorse chassis and GM 7.4 vortec. MH only has 38k miles on it and has set for last 5yrs + other than owner starting and moving back and forth a couple times a year. Upon test drive previous owner told me I may need to use my foot to pull brake pedal back up since it does not like to return to the up position.I never did have to do that but pedal is slow to return and did get a it better as I drove it back home after purchase (150miles). Pedal is soft and most of the braking comes in towards the bottom of the pedal which stops the unit but is not quit right. This does have the Auto park feature in which the switch and park brake do function on and off but the light on the dash stays on (park brake).Have not had anytime to dig into this problem but am hoping to this weekend and hopefully someone can give me some ideas on what to look for. Thanks for your help.

Well I would replace the brake master cylinder and pray that is the cause because if it is not then odds are you going to need a new brake booster assembly and they cost a lot of money
