Should I use Motorkote in my 2020 Corolla?

Hey Scotty!

I LOVE all your videos.  I'm just a lady who loves cars and wants them to last until the wheels fall off.  lol  😉  My question is what is your opinion on using MotorKote every 50,000 miles or even using it at all.  I have a 2020 Toyota Corolla LE that has to last me at least 10 years.  I currently have 78,000 miles on it and it's never had MotorKote in it.

Thanks so much!!  😊

Don't use it. With proper maintenance those cars typically last several 100K miles. There's just no need or reason to use special additives or lubricants, etc.

All you need to do is stay on top of your maintenance:  especially, change engine oil (and use premium filter) every 5,000 miles or once a year, whichever comes first, and change the CVT transmission fluid (use OEM fluid only) every 30,000 miles.  Also, highway miles result in less wear and tear to the powertrain than city miles.

Most oil additives, "MotorKote" included, are snake oil that do nothing but lighten your wallet.
