2006 Maxima fuel gauge went 360^ past off position and pressing against needle peg.
This happened just after fueling up.
Not sure what happened or how to fix.

January that means that the dash unit has broken you can get one in a junkyard a new one cost a fortune

If you pop the instrument cluster out you can take the cover off and spin it back around and it’ll work fine. Usually this happens if the battery is getting weak and the needles jump and fluctuate but you do not need a new instrument cluster
