I have a 2006 Murano with 142k (which my daughter uses at college). The service engine soon comes on once a month or so, I used my xtool D9 and got a P0420 code and reset it and it runs fine. It doesn't overheat or anything, can I use a catalytic cleaner on it or is there another cause for the code? Or should I just leave well enough alone and keep resetting occasionally?good work

Did you look up the code to see what the causes for it might be? Codes are only a starting point for diagnosis, they tell you a condition exists but not necessarily what it actually at fault.
