Hey Scotty I bought a brand new 2020 Mustang GT with 37 miles and it started making the famous typewriter ticking noise at 8000 miles after the 2nd oil change.
The noise does not appear during a cold start but when the engine is warm after driving. Ford says not to worry but what is your opinion about these Mustang V8 engines ticking?
(I changed the oil every 4k miles (Motocraft 5w20))
See post below by Mod_Man and scroll to near the bottom: unfortunately, Ford calls it “normal”.

Thank you very much for your time and reply. Much appreciated!
Take it back to Ford and demand that they fix it.
Did it and they say it's "normal". They won't do anything about it. (Thanks for the answer tho).
If oil was squirting onto your windshield, Ford would call it normal. You are going to have to pursue this up the corporate ladder and not stop until you get satisfaction.
