Question is when I give full throttle to my mustang I feel a slight hesitation, is it time to replace injectors and or fuel pump? 138,000miles on the clock otherwise car works perfectly
Its probably because you have an automatic transmission and that lag is it shifting gears and possibly slipping. Baby it and you might make it to 200k+ miles

i dont think it has anything to do with the transmission. gears are fine. thanks though
The injectors are most definitely bad my 1996 mustang injectors where completely gone at 155k miles and be cautious with your transmission. My Transmission doesn't go into drive anymore and it most definitely slipped at 135k.

transmission is working fine, no issues there. ill swap out the injectors and will prbably give it a new fuel pump and filter and then see what happens. its about time i change them anyway , thanks
