mustang gt rattle/tapping noise

I have a 2006 mustang gt 4.6 auto trans with 90k miles. I was replacing spark plugs and broke half of it off. The other half was still threaded in the cylinder and i had a repair shop take it out. exactly one week later my engine makes this awful tapping/rattle noise. I believe its possible the guy may have let some debris fall in the engine and screwed it up. There was a whole lawsuit against ford about these retarded spark plug design. Can someone take a listen and tell me what you think it is. If debris really is in my engine will other things break and my engine is screwed?

Holy bent valves Batman! That sounds terrible.

I hate to be the guy to say it, but you're gonna need to tear down that motor and, at a minimum, get some new valves put in. The two piece spark plug design from Ford was a terrible idea and I see this exact problem from time to time. Guys get up around 100k, realize it is time to change plugs, but don't quite expect them to be so hard to remove. They can really get stuck and you can not lose patience. If they snap, there is a very good chance small debris will fall down into the motor and cause damage. It sounds like the guy at the shop decided to use violence and power to remove the stuck half. Pieces probably went everywhere and he knew he messed up, but didn't say anything.

It's going to be a costly repair unfortunately.

Yeah that's horrible sound it sounds like the guy screwed up the job if it didn't make that noise before he obviously got parts inside and now the valves are damaged.
