Hi, i have a Lexus es330. i upgraded my car's audio system which included adding a subwoofer enclosure, amps, etc on the trunk. all that aftermarket equipment weighs roughly 100 lbs, and my rear suspension has noticable sink due to the added weight in the trunk. the car still has the original suspension and never been replaced. will it damage the suspension in the long run, or cause premature wear? should i upgrade the suspension with all the added weight? TIA

You’re talking about the added weight of a child? Or a full tank of fuel?

It’s just placebo, I personally wouldn’t worry about it.

If you’re having handling issues, then yes, it’s time for some new suspension parts.

Adding 100 lb weight should not result in sagging your car.
