Looking for a 2015 - 2017 Mustang V6 automatic convertible in Canada. I’m recently retired, looking for a nice cruiser. Hoping it to be my last car. 1. Is this a good choice and 2 is there’s difference between the years? Is there anything I should be looking out for? I plan to get it inspected by a mechanic prior to purchase.

Not a bad choice if you just want a cruiser people buy the v6 they don't all drive like maniacs or used one is often a better car that's long as a mechanic occasion

Not a bad car choice. The only issue that was common on those is A/C problems. And when they happen, it's a $3000 to fix because of where Ford decided to mount the components. The entire dash has to be ripped out to get to them.

This is a super, super common problem with all 15-17 Mustangs, not just the V6. It can happen at any mileage. I've seen it happen at 5k miles and also at 110k miles. Sometimes multiple times.

Just something to be aware of. My father had one, and he loved it. Was a great car but at 38k miles the A/C did indeed fail. Lots of info on the internet regarding this as well. Here is just one link to an owners forum where it is being discussed:

Thanks for the advice! In Vancouver Canada there’s not much need for air con most of the year. So I’ll cross my fingers and pray. {black}:sweaty:
