This Year I bought 2004 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution 8 MR model . When i buy this car it was not starting , then i looking for reason car not starting , then i checken fuel line fuel pump its all okay , and sparks okay too . When i turn my key on Fuel pump works and sparks and car starts like 2 or 3 second then shuts off . after that its not start . and every time i disconnect battery and it will start like 2 or 3 sec . I think after engine start , Engine dont have fuel and shutting off…

Realize people and on those cars are often run the heck out of it I would start by doing a wet and dry compression test to see if the engine wasn't good shape or not realize most of those that rubber timing belts if they have a break often the valves will get bent inside the engine and that would show with the compression test
