Hi all, need advice!
My 2010 Acura TSX with just 88,000 miles is burning oil and my mechanic says I now have to check it every 1000 miles and add more if low. Also recently it deaccelerated a few times, lostpower and had to be towed.
When he got it he said the towguy left the keys in and it wiped all the diagnostic info so he couldn't tell me why it lost power. Just put in new sparkplugs and told me to check oil every 1000 miles.
Is this car doomed, and should I be dumping it? Def.can't afford a new one and wondering why it's doing all this at not even 100,000 miles. 😎

Who knows what the maintenance has been on it. It's burning oil because the rings are shot. The handwriting is on the wall. Bail out!
