I saw 2 Silverado’s for sale the last 24 hours. The one I mentioned in a previous post was a 2009 Silverado 2500HD 4x4 Extended cab 6.0 V8 159,000 miles $15,500 a lot of front end work was done on it, upgraded suspension and has aftermarket lights. The other one is a 2006 Silverado 1500 4x4 Extended cab 4.8 V8 179,000 $7,500 which is half the price though it appears to be in rougher shape the bed is banged up and is missing the rear tailgate handle but can be placed. Which one should I go for?
Go for the 3/4 ton and offer the guy $10K. The 1/2 ton is a joke, not really a truck at all.
I was thinking the same thing lol. I think The 3/4 guy is asking too much. I bought my 2016 RAV4 in 2017 with 22,000 miles for only $3,000 more then what he’s asking. $15,500 seems to be a lot for that Chevy although a lot of work and upgrades were done but it’s got about 160,000 miles and it’s already 12 years old. I would expect that price on a Tundra.
