I have a 2002 Toyota Corolla station wagon and I cleaned my mass airflow sensor yesterday and the throttle body, now the idling is a bit off and the engine is shaking and the idling is below 1000rpm. How do I adjust the idling for the engine not to shake?
Give it a bit of time. The computer needs to re-adjust.
What did you use to clean them with? You can use MAF cleaner on the throttle body but you can't use throttle body cleaner on the MAF. It leaves a residue that can burn the delicate wires in the MAF.
@doc I used mass airflow sensor cleaner to clean the MAF and for the throttle body I used EGR Cleaner. I'm trying to attach the images of the products here but it looks like there is no tag to attach them.
