Topic starter
- Hi. I recently had my car towed to a shop and they replaced the starter while I waited-my car was finished in just under 30mins. As I was driving on the freeway within the first 5 minutes almost every light on my dashboard came on and the oil pressure low light going haywire it then said reducing engine power and literally shut itself off. So I had it towed back and the guy says I had to leave my car there. okay so I did he called me within 2 or 3 hrs and told me it was ready. This time I had my mom follow behind. The mechanic didn't tell me anything besides I owed him another $40 for replacing a connection on the oil pressure sensor he said he took care of it. I'm still unsure what happened to my car or what could have caused this problem.

Well on some cars if that sensors loose it'll turn the car off because they don't want the engine running with no oil pressure so that could have actually been the problem
