My car was parked. The car was turned on and the AC was on too. I was in the parking lot waiting. Then, after like 40–50 minute, the car automatically turned off. It's a new 2021 Rav4. I just bought this like 2 months ago. Less than 1k miles. Is there a mechanical issue? or this a new technology where the car assume that the driver left the car so it turned off. I was inside the car with the keys.
My Ford would do that. After a long time idling it would count down on the dash and if it got to 0, it shut down. I think it was 20 minutes.
But your owners manual can tell you. Or a quick call to your dealer.

Not a feature that I'm aware of, but you can read your owner's manual to check.
