Hey Scotty, my name is Steven and I have a 2015 Honda civic si, the problem is the “check charge systems” light is on. I checked the battery and alternator and both are working as they should. I have had a mechanic take a look and reset the system but it only lasted about 3 hours. I have notice if I try to reset it, the light will come on in high revs then stay on. Any ideas or tips to resolve this issue?

The fact that your charge system warning light is on suggests otherwise. How old is the battery? If original it's overdue for replacement after 8 years.
Charging is computer controlled on modern cars so it's probably going to take a good bidirectional scan tool to properly diagnose this once the simple stuff (connectors, cables, alternator, battery) is checked and eliminated.
