My dad has a Chrysler voyager red van and it is has having trouble starting. He got the spark plugs and oil changed in it and it is still have issues starting. I don't know how to fix cars only lawnmowers so I have no idea what the problem could be. He did leave the key in the on position to let the fuel pump pump fuel to the engine but that did not solve it. It does start on the second or third crank. Like I said I am not a car expert but could it be something simple like the spark plug wires?
It could be a zillion things I mean as long as it starts most people are going to live with that it could mean the fuel injectors are worn and need replacing the fuel pump could be weak until it starts and builds up pressure the fuel pressure regulator could be weak but I mean really it's an old Chrysler and if it starts up and runs and it takes maybe two or three seconds personally I'd live with that rather than spending a ton of money. But if you're near Clarksville Tennessee I check them out for you I'd analyze and tell them what's wrong
