My dash started saying engine hot ac off but the warning light is off still what could be wrong
I have a 06 impala 3.5L with 122,000 miles and the dash says engine hot ac off. The temp light is off but, the warning gauge stays at cold. I already changed the connection point and the temperature sensor replaced

To verify coolant temperature you could use an infrared thermometer aimed at the thermostat housing (that's usually where the sensor is) or the upper radiator hose.

First check the coolant level.
Have you changed the thermostat?
