So I have a automatic Japan import 1982 Honda Accord hatchback xl and I got it 5months ago off Facebook for $750 and it's been a pain a butt at the moment. I've currently had a couple parts replace to fix some issue and now main is gash gage is some what half working and the big one is everytime it's driven at fast speed then stoping the car the car turns off to were it needs to be restarted and at this point I'm very upset and sad but I wanna get the car to drive and work but I can't seem to get a spot to diagnostic the car or a way to fix the car so where do I go from here
Carburetor rebuild is in order here. And check the mechanical fuel pump for proper function too and get a new fuel filter.

Well said but sure you got a Japanese import and an old one and 82. The diagnosis on nose is generally garbage because you can't plug in a scan tool that gets hardly any information. But for my experience on those old 82's you're generally need to work on the keihan carburetors
A lot of emission-controlled carbureted cars use a dashpot to prevent the throttle from closing too quickly when coming to a stop from high speed. If yours is equipped with one it may be worn out after 40 years. Also check vacuum hoses, 1980s cars with carbs tend to have miles of vacuum plumbing for emission control devices.
