Hey Scotty,
2007 Chevy Colorado 3.7L automatic trans with 130k miles and no engine light. Just recently noticed a concerning noise that only happens when I accelerate. It’s almost like a screeching noise and it’s pretty quiet it’s not that loud, with the radio on it’s easy to miss. Once I get up to speed and am cruising I don’t hear it anymore, what could it be? Should I get it looked at by a mechanic? Thanks

could be a lot of things. worn belt. worn mounts. squeaky springs ....
Can't hurt to have it looked at.
