My wife has never had a new car. We are thinking about a Toyota Corolla, Honda Civic or a Subaru Crosstrek. We want a car that will last and hold the most resale value. Can you help us decide?
I would say the Corolla, with the Civic a close second.
The Crosstrek, meh, not really into Subarus and their auto transmissions tend to have problems.
If you don't need AWD I would go with the Corolla or Civic.
Don't forget to look at our buying guide in the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Assuming everything checks out, any of those would be great choices. (Make sure to check specific model and year info for common complaints). When it comes down to good cars, choose whichever you think looks better.
If you live in snow or go on dirt roads often, I recommend the Crosstrek, only because it comes with All Wheel Drive. Otherwise, if you don't need it, the others are great choices too!
Those are all great choices! Go with the Corolla if you want it to last the longest and have the best resale value.
Corolla > Civic > Crosstrek. But of those the Corolla should last the longest.
