I have a tube of Napa "Sil-Glyde", which I use to lubricate o-rings etc. with, on tube it says it can be used on fan belts, and brake pads, etc. to quit them , that seems kind of dumb etc. the Sil-Glyde being a grease what do you think?

Lightly applied to fan belts.
Applied to metal of brake pads so they slide easy in caliper grooves and on caliper pins....NOT on the friction part ! 😯
It's great on weather stripping around doors and windows also.
