You did not specify the year but it appears you're likely dealing with a car decades old that most of us here have never seen.

I'm not sure what you mean by "the code to look for" when seeking a replacement part. Are you talking about the Nissan part number? The fault code? Or, if looking for a used replacement, whether the part is VIN-locked?
