Hi, Scotty! Any chance you do remote video assistance/advice? I've been trying to track down a few recurring issues in my car for almost a year.
I'd be happy to pay you your going rate to sit back in a chair and boss me around through video call.
I've built up a fairly diverse array of diagnostic tools and should have everything I need already. However, the issue continues to elude me and shift around.
I have data logs, scanners, smoke machine, switched power, etc.
I'm a long time fan of yours, I've been watching your videos for the past decade.

Super bad idea to post all you personal details on a public website. Especially with all the scammers and spam bots we're getting. The is a community forum. Here's how it works: to get help you post your vehicle info and details of the problem (just like the instructions say.) We have a number of volunteers experienced in auto repair who are eager to help you , or at least point you in the right direction. Nobody phones or emails you. You have to come back here to check for answers.
Scotty also reads the forum, and although he can't answer every question , he does try, and sometimes he even features them in a video. If you want live help, he does a youtube live show Q&A twice a week on most weeks. You can play your chances with email, but you'll have to take a number. Details are in the FAQ.

You might want to find a make/model/year/engine - forum to get info on specific problems, especially if you have a less-common vehicle, or if you have modified it.
I, myself, found great info on specific car and motorcycle issues by looking at Toyota MR2 and Suzuki Vstrom forums.
