Hello scotty I have a 99 ford ranger 3.0 2wd its got a tapping noise from the bottom of the engine its really annoying sound thank you

slip off the belt to make sure it's not that. If it isn't, then it's in the engine so take it to a mechanic. For a 1999, it may not be worth fixing though.
