Hey Scotty, which Mini Van would you recommend for reliability and quality? The 2021 Toyota Sienna or the 2021 Honda Odyssey. I think all new Toyota Sienna are Hybrids right so that is interesting, not sure what you might suggest?

Thank you,

Kirby

Honda's reliability goes back and forth. I wouldn't get the new Sienna. I've heard some positive stuff about it because it's AWD and a hybrid but it hasn't been out that long and the verdict is unclear. Do not get the Kia Carnival because Hyundai products won't last long.

The last option-the Chrysler Pacifica is your best bet. I know people will say it's a Chrysler product but I test drove the new Pacifica and they did make some improvements (especially with the ZF 9-speed). The 3.6 pentastar motor is fine and can last some time with proper care.

I agree. The Pentastar in our Caravan has held up very well so far. Sounds pretty good and has decent kick too.

I would get a last generation Toyota Sienna and call it a day, especially if you plan to hold onto it for as long as possible and want minimal issues.  The current ones are still too new to comment on how they will hold up, although Toyota hybrid systems are nothing new (they have been perfecting and refining those for over 20 years), but still wise to wait a few years and have any bugs worked out.
