Hello! Ive been following all of your videos on Youtube, I have a Mazda 3 2008. it hardshift from 2nd to 3rd gear when it warms up, Code P0767 (Shift Solenoid D Stuck On), 180 000 miles, I am planning on replacing the solenoids, filter and drain and put new Valvoline MaxLife Multi-Vehicle (ATF) Full Synthetic Automatic Transmission Fluid, 1 Gallon in, Do you think thats the right call??
Yes.

It's a high mileage transmission. Many things could be wearing out.
I think Scotty once recommended some sort of a magic liquid for that: called Lucas Transmission Fix:

Seems to be fixing your sort of problems. Imo it is worth trying before you start taking serious and costy measures.
I think that would fix slipping, not hard shifts. Solenoids aren't costly, but with that kind of mileage, the rest of the transmission is probably going downhill too.
"stops slip, hesitation and rough shifting"

No doubt.
will it do my taxes too?
I did my homework and now I know, that "rough shifting" refers to solenoids.
But - no - taxes it wont do. Death and taxes (and bad seals replacement at some point of time) are all unavoidable 🙂
