Most of the new hondas use a turbocharger with a small 1.5. Will these motors last 200,000 without any issues?
Take a tiny engine, force feed it fuel, get lots of horsepower til it blows up.
That's all too common these days.
Forget turbo and supercharging and drive sensibly
My 2 bits
I liked the CR-V but not anymore.
What was Honda thinking?
If toyota starts doing this what are we going to do? It looks like it's coming with the new Tundra
I say above 100000miles but less than 200000miles if taken care properly
no
No. When you put a turbo charger on a tiny little 1.5 liter engine, you are artificially getting more power out of the engine that was never designed to produce it in the first place.
Boost that thing till she pops
Just keep it at like 3 lb of boost, eagle talons only ran like 5 in the 90s, but i pushed mine to 20-25 easy but that engine was built to do it. i did a 1.8 honda with a greddy kit 18g turbo. it ran great for like 5 years then broke the top off a piston. only ran about 10-15lbs of boost
